New Supplement Devoted to Unfractionated Heparin

Henry I. Bussey, Pharm.D.
August 2004

This supplement to the journal, Pharmacotherapy (Vol 24, Issue 8, Part 2, August, 2004), addresses currently recognized problems of dosing and monitoring unfractionated heparin (UFH) and the use of UFH for prophylaxis in medical patients, for treatment of venous thrombosis, and for treatment of acute coronary syndromes. Pharmacoeconomic and nursing considerations also are addressed.

With the permission of Pharmacotherapy, we have made each article from the supplement available in pdf format. Click on an article's title to view the pdf.
